What you can expect from the job

Catalog content: create and maintain product titles, descriptions, specifications, features, attributes, and category content.

SEO: conduct keyword research and optimise product content, headings, metadata, and descriptions for search visibility.

Technical writing: prepare and update technical descriptions, product documentation, user guides, and process documents.

Review and quality assurance: Review content and catalog work completed by junior team members, provide constructive feedback, ensure adherence to client guidelines and quality standards, and support them in resolving content-related issues

Analyse source information, identify content gaps, and organise it into clear, accurate, structured content.

Review content for accuracy, grammar, readability, uniqueness, consistency, and compliance with client guidelines.

Create or edit images, screenshots, and supporting visual content using appropriate tools.

Validate catalog data, maintain structured product information, and flag inconsistencies or duplication.

Review internal and external links for accuracy, relevance, and functionality.

Update existing catalog entries, technical content, and website content as information and requirements change.

Manage assigned tasks independently, meeting deadlines and quality and productivity standards.

Coordinate with the Lead Consultant and stakeholders to clarify requirements, resolve content issues, and improve delivery processes.

What will help you do the job well

Must-have skills/ characteristics

Graduate degree in any discipline; a degree in English, Communications, or a related field is an advantage.

Approximately 3 years of relevant experience in catalog writing, digital content creation, SEO content, or technical writing.

Excellent written English, grammar, vocabulary, editing, and proofreading skills.

Practical knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and on-page content optimisation.

Strong research, analytical, and data-verification skills.

Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets for managing and validating catalog data.

Ability to manage multiple assignments, work independently, and meet deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to content quality.

Strong ownership and accountability, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and time management.

Effective communication and collaboration, with willingness to learn new tools and technologies.

Other desirable skills/characteristics

Experience with e-commerce platforms, product information management systems, or content management systems.

Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, or other image-editing tools.

Experience writing technical documentation, user guides, product manuals, or process documents.

Familiarity with web publishing, HTML basics, and structured content formats; experience with large product catalogs or client-specific content guidelines.

ISMS roles and responsibilities

Fair understanding of Information Security practices.

Align to the organization policies and procedures.

Ensure to get updated with ISMS roles as assigned by the department/process heads.
