What you can expect from the job

We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP ABAP & BRIM Consultant to join our growing SAP practice. The ideal candidate will bring deep hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP development and SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM), including Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Invoicing (CI), and Convergent Charging (CC). This is a strategic, client-facing role that requires both technical depth and the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.

SAP ABAP Development

Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW objects).

Implement User Exits, BADIs, Enhancement Spots, and BAPIs to extend standard SAP functionality.

Develop and optimize complex SAP programs including ALV reports, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and IDocs.

Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development standards and best practices.

Work with SAP S/4HANA-specific ABAP features including CDS Views, AMDP, and RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming).

SAP BRIM Implementation & Support

Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP BRIM components: Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Invoicing (CI), Convergent Mediation, and Convergent Charging (CC).

Configure and develop custom solutions within the BRIM framework to support subscription-based and usage-based billing models.

Integrate SAP BRIM with SAP S/4HANA, SD, FI, and external systems.

Manage master data in BRIM including products, charge plans, billing accounts, and contract accounts.

Design and implement billing scenarios, invoice layouts, and dunning processes.

Support high-volume transaction processing and performance optimization within BRIM.

Architecture & Consulting

Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

Create technical design documents, functional specs, and system architecture diagrams.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Conduct workshops, demos, and knowledge transfer sessions with client teams.

Support unit testing, integration testing, UAT, and go-live activities.

What will help you do the job well

Must-have skills/ characteristics

Experience

5+ years of hands-on SAP ABAP development experience in complex enterprise environments.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience with SAP BRIM (SOM, CI, CC, or Convergent Mediation).

Proven track record of delivering full-cycle SAP implementation projects.

Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments strongly preferred.

Technical Skills

Proficient in ABAP OO (Object-Oriented ABAP), classical ABAP, and modern S/4HANA ABAP paradigms.

Strong knowledge of SAP BRIM components and related billing architectures.

Hands-on experience with CDS Views, OData Services, ABAP Unit Testing.

Familiarity with SAP Integration Suite (CPI/PI/PO) for system integrations.

Knowledge of SAP FI-CA (Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable) is a strong advantage.

Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development is a plus.

Other desirable skills/characteristics

SAP Certified Development Associate or Professional certification (ABAP or BRIM-related).

Experience in Telecommunications, Utilities, or Media industry verticals (common BRIM domains).

Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

Experience with DevOps tools like gCTS, abapGit, or SAP Cloud Application Lifecycle Management (CALM).

Understanding of Revenue Recognition (IFRS 15) in the context of SAP BRIM.

ISMS roles and responsibilities

Good knowledge of Information security.

Oversee specific business processes within the ISMS.

Responsible to manage the ISMS documentation, conduct risk assessments, and implement risk treatment plans.

Risk Owners are responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing risks within their areas of responsibility.

They are also responsible for implementing risk treatment plans.

Conduct the BCP and other test related to information security continuity along with CISO.

Responsible for monitoring and reporting on the performance of the ISMS.

Responsible for implementation of security policies and procedures and report any issues to the CISO.
