What you can expect from the job

Design, develop, and optimize scalable APIs using Python/Django.

Collaborate across the development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.

Implement secure authentication (OAuth, JWT, SSO) and protect user data.

Maintain and enhance API performance, scalability, and security.

Write clean, testable, and efficient code following best practices.

What will help you do the job well

Must-have skills/ characteristics

Experience: 5-7 years in Python development.

Backend: Advanced Django (ORM, middleware, caching, signals).

API Development: RESTful APIs (DRF), GraphQL, authentication.

Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB (query optimization, indexing).

Performance: Caching (Redis, Memcached), async tasks (Celery), API/database optimization.

Security: Role-based access, encryption, protection against vulnerabilities.

Advanced: Microservices (Docker, Kubernetes), event-driven architecture (Kafka, RabbitMQ), AWS services (RDS, S3, Lambda).

Testing & Docs: Pytest, Swagger/OpenAPI.

Other desirable skills/characteristics

Ownership: Take responsibility for deliverables with proactive communication.

Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends and technologies.

Collaboration: Share insights, present ideas, and engage in discussions.

Initiative: Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Knowledge of ISMS Principles and best practices.

Willingness to travel domestic/international.
