What you can expect from the job

Infrastructure Management: Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

CI/CD Pipelines: Develop, configure, and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate deployment processes using Jenkins,GitLab CI/CD.

Monitoring & Logging: Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions to ensure the smooth operation of applications and infrastructure.

Collaboration: Work closely with development, testing, and operations teams to identify and fix bottlenecks in system performance.

Automation: Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages like Python, or Bash to streamline operations.

Security & Compliance: Ensure system and network security, identify potential risks, and implement security policies for infrastructure and code.

Configuration Management: Utilize tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet for configuration management and orchestration of infrastructure.

Troubleshooting & Support: Provide timely troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of infrastructure and application issues.

Version Control: Manage version control systems (Git, GitLab, GitHub) to collaborate on code and infrastructure changes.

Cloud & Containerization: Use containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) to deploy and manage scalable applications.

What will help you do the job well

Must-have skills/ characteristics

Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS (Mandatory) and Azure, or GCP.

Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins (Mandatory), GitLab CI (Mandatory), or CircleCI.

Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Experience with containerization and orchestration Docker (Mandatory), Kubernetes (Mandatory).

Other desirable skills/ characteristics

Strong skills in scripting (Python, Bash).

Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket,SVN).

Understanding of networking, security, and system architecture.

Knowledge in SAP (SAP BTP) will be an added advantage.

Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps, etc.) will be an added advantage.

Knowledge of ISMS principles and best practices.

Willingness to travel domestic/international.
